There are many treasures here you might be interested to own. Clothes, antiques, books, bags, furniture and whatever others might want to sell. Although used, many are in excellent condition. The best thing is that the prices are unbelievable! Well, like they say, 'One man's junk is another man's treasure'.
Thank you for browsing through the store. It's a good step to start helping the environment. Have you ever seen the landfill where they bury all our trash? It's scary to know that some of these trash will never decompose! There might be so much trash that we may even have to resort to transporting our trash to another planet one day. If you've seen the movie 'Soldier' starring Kurt Russell and Jason Scott Lee, you'll know what I mean. Then we'll feel the pinch when we have to pay that kind of conservancy charge! I saw this Cree Indian Philosophy at the zoo and find it very meaningful, "Only after the last tree has been cut down, only after the last river has been poisoned, only after the last fish has been caught, only then will you find that money cannot be eaten". If we can change our life to produce less waste maybe we could save our earth from an early death.
If you have 'junk' to give away, the person receiving it may accept it just because it's free. Who knows if that person will also keep it in the closet or throw it down the chute later. Whereas, if you try to sell it and someone is willing to pay for it, that shows the person buying would definitely use it. Or if you sell the stuff that you no longer use, at least you can get some money back. Hey! If you can get 30% of what you'd paid for, that's like getting a 30% discount!!
Buying 2nd hand stuff is not that bad. In fact, it's good! You're not only helping the environment by Reusing, you're buying good condition items at a fraction of the retail price. What's more, after you no longer need the item, you can be sure that you can sell it at a small loss or even at the same price you've paid for.
Internet is an amazing thing. You can shop from your desk without having to travel all the way to the 'garage sale' and find nothing useful.
